A Springfield Ohio man made the entire city upset when he killed a neighbors dog with a baseball bat. This man was charged with burglary which he was facing 18 months in jail for and cruelty to a companion animal which he was facing 12 months in jail for. I myself think those charges should have more time and he should of been charged with murder because to most of us pet owners they are not just an animal to us they are our family members but I figured at least he will be facing jail time for this crime plus there is no way he will get off free because the community was so upset over it.
Well when I thought Springfield Ohio's government and court system could not shock me anymore they did in this case. Even though this man plead guilty he got off with a 300 dollar fine and 40 hours of community service. Are you kidding me? As I said this was someone who lost their best friend, their companion in life and their family member. This sentence basically tells people to go kill someone and you will only get community service. But again it does not shock me coming from Springfield Ohio that they did this. What I would like everyone to take away from this blog though is not the fact of a city being stupid in it's verdict but that we all need to stand up and ban together to make our pets have just as much rights as people when it comes to things like this. Make it a felony murder if someone kills our pets whether it be a random person or these shelters who just kill pets because they are overcrowded or that pet does not sell. That is what is most important here. Then maybe one day these low life people who are cruel to animals will see that animals lives matter too. We all know money is what makes the world go round and that you must have some to live but why must people be treated differently depending on how much of it that they have or be treated differently because they do not have the money they used to? I have been on the top with tons of money and on the bottom being homeless so I know about this subject personally plus I have seen it by others as well. I am going to talk about that and some of my opinions on it in this blog. Please be sure to give your opinions of this subject after you read it in the comments. Romantic RelationshipsI have seen it many times where someone will pick the one they want to be with or marry based on the type of money they bring in instead of the type of person they are, what things they may have in common or how that person makes them feel inside. I also have seen marriages where the husband or wife becomes ill or is permanently disabled so they cannot bring any more money into the household or they are waiting on disability to kick in so the spouse that is healthy ends up treating the one who is not healthy differently or ends up finding someone else who makes more money. I have also seen where a spouse has lost a job or their hours were cut at their job and the other spouse treat them differently because of it. It is sad really that money makes or breaks so many relationships when that should not be the reason to get into or out of a relationship. This is one main reason relationships do not last at all anymore. It is not the only reason but it is one of the top reasons. Other RelationshipsSome other relationships where people get treated differently because of money are friendships, other family members looking highly of you are down on you, dealing with people in the workplace because money seems to have more influence and many many more. It is just sad. What We Need To Get Back ToWhat we need to get back to is looking at people for people. No matter what they have or what they look like on the outside. If someone is in a relationship of any kind do not look down on that person or just all of a sudden treat them differently because they may not have the money they used to. Also definitely do not change what you already previously promised in that relationship or not do what you promised to always do because someone's money situation changes. Look into their hearts for who they are not their wallets and always be the person you promised to be with them and for them.
The reason I am writing this blog is because I see so many people being shallow and materialistic. By doing this they are breaking up great relationships too. So let us get back to people and who they are more than anything! Thanks so much for taking the time to read this. Like and share it if you liked it. Remember that love is the greatest gift and we love ya here! Have an amazing blessed day! Some people know and some people do not know that I used to smoke cigarettes for many years and not a whole lot of people know the story about how I started and how I found a way to quit so I figured I would share that here in this blog. How And When Did I StartMost people would think I actually started because of peer pressure and to look cool but that was not the case with me. When I was 10 years old my sister who was 15 at the time and not even legal to smoke herself and her best friend who was the same age as my sister decided to give me a lit cigarette just to see if I would take it and if I could handle smoking it. Yes that is right they gave a 10 year old which was me a lit cigarette and said here smoke one with us. They were laughing the whole time thinking I was going to take a draw and get sick or just cough my head off. To their surprise though I took a huge draw and not only did it not phase me at all but I actually inhaled it as well. Both my sister and her friend were shocked! So after that first time not because of peer pressure but because of wanting to spend time with my sister every time she lit up I did too with her on most cases. Then I just got hooked even more from there. By the age of 13 or 14 I pretty much was buying my own cigarettes because I looked much older than I was and by the time my parents found out I was smoking they figured oh well I was going to do it anyways so why not just allow me to do it. So that is how I started smoking cigarettes. How And When I StoppedI decided one day in my 30's that I wanted to stop because the cost of cigarettes had more than tripled from the time I started and I started at such a young age that I had already been smoking for 20 years or more. I tried the gum, the patch, chewing on hard candy, sleeping days away so I would not smoke and so much more but nothing worked so I continued to smoke right up to my late 30's. Then one day I remembered what a family member told me on their death bed that smoked for almost 50 years but quit. They said "if you ever decide to quit it only takes will power and even when you do quit the cravings really never 100 percent go away. You just have to have the will power not to pick them up when those cravings come." That day I deciding something that would finally allow me to quit. I decided to every single time I got a craving for a cigarette I would get busy doing something with my hands or something to keep my mind occupied. Every single time I got a craving I would take the will power to do that and try to resist the cravings. After a day I did not smoke at all. Then after a week I did not smoke at all. After a month I did not smoke at all. Now almost 5 years later I have not smoked one cigarette. Sure I still get major cravings to smoke every once in a while but I just get busy when I do and the cravings eventually go away. So my decision to listen to what a family member had told me helped me quit smoking after almost 30 years! Things I Noticed After QuittingAfter quitting I started to notice some changes happening to me. I noticed after time my smell came back. I could actually smell other smokers. When I smoked and other people who did not would tell me I stink like I just smoked, which I did, I thought they were nuts because I could not smell as thing as a smoker LOL. I started to sleep better because I could breathe better and was not being kept up by smoking. Some people do not know it but cigarettes are stimulants. That is the reason why some people when they are tired they will light up or if they are nervous or depressed they will light up as well. I started to be able to taste food better and all the discoloring of smoking like on my fingers etc at times were never there ever again. After quitting you will notice some changes too. You Can Do It TooYou can also quit like I did with a little will power if you smoke cigarettes no matter how long you have been smoking for. Yes my actual way of quitting with getting busy doing something may not work for everyone but you can find something that you can stick to that will eventually help you quit. It can be done! It is truly a renewing of the mind. You know what some people say about how long it takes to create a habit and how long it takes to break it well I now believe that so much. Plus it saves on my health and also my money as well. So do not let anyone tell you or do not tell yourself that you cannot do it because I know if I can anyone can with will power. ConclusionThis is not a blog story to make fun of or down anyone who smokes. This is only my story of starting to smoke then quitting to maybe give people a little hope is all. Do you have a quitting story? What helped you quit? Feel free to leave those answers or anything you would like to say and add to this blog in the comments. If you are a creator I am sure you have had times when you have dealt with burnout, frustration and just the fact that you want to quit because it does not seem like YouTube wants you to succeed as a small creator or you feel the time is just not worth it. We all have and I have too.
I cannot tell you how many times I have thought about quitting YouTube and creation all together. Every time it looked like I was gaining ground growing my channel and meeting new people it seems YouTube would change things or just offer the new stuff to bigger YouTube creators which would defeat all my progress. But I never quit because it came down to me thinking of two very important things and I feel these things should be important to you as well if you ever feel the need to quit creating on any platform not just YouTube. My Supporters
The number one reason I do not quit is because of my supporters. No matter how many there are as long as I have them then it keeps me going. I cannot quit on them and I will not ever! They are what is most important to me.
Not Wanting To Lose To YouTube
The second reason is I have a competitive nature. I feel YouTube makes changes at times in hopes people will quit so they do not have to worry about them. When people quit because of this YouTube wins. I will not let them win so I will not quit. I will keep going.
So if you ever feel like you ever get burnt out or want to quit creating anything make sure you think of the important things first and they will keep you going. Love will also keep you going because it is the greatest gift. We always love ya here! Have an amazing blessed day!
